125th Anniversary 1892-2017




     Fairlie Village Hall opened on 16th November, 1892, and to mark the anniversary week we're arranging a series of events.  Further information will be available nearer the time:-

    Sunday, 12th November - Fairlie's Men Of The Great War Exhibition

     Monday, 13th November - to be confirmed

    Tuesday, 14th November - Afternoon Tea

    Wednesday, 15th November - to be confirmed

    Thursday, 16th November - The McDougalls Singalong Show

    Friday, 17th November - Anniversary Concert



    During our anniversary year, we plan to make some improvements to Fairlie Village Hall:-

    April/May - chemical flush of heating system & new boiler installed

    June/July - repainting of corridor and toilets at south end


     June - Many thanks to the Kelburn Wind Farm Community Fund Initiative for the award of funding towards the cost of a new audio-visual system for the Village Hall (wall-mounted speakers, mixer amp, projector and screen).


    June - Many thanks to the Magnox Socio-Economic Scheme (Hunterston A) for funding for a new cooker, fridge and microwave for the Village Hall kitchen.
